Yes it would definitely work. These are the same sculptures that I have made over the years, that I have only displayed and photographed in natural light.
However, in order to slow down the changing process, the less UV light the better. Leaves last a remarkably long time, it is mostly fungi that break them down, so kept dry, indoors, they will last for decades. But UV will hasten the fading.
Do you think hanging a work like this in front of a window so the illumination would be natural light would work?
