Prisms

The last sculpture I posted was of six pentagonal prisms made from leaves.

There were seven but one disintegrated during the attempted set up.

That attempt looked scraggy and unkempt and the composition was for seven not six.

So I made eight more just to be different and they're still out there having their photos taken.

These new ones are open ended prisms, designed to catch the light.

These are two closed prisms I made earlier: hexagonal and pentagonal.

A Polyhedron is a three-dimensional shape with flat polygonal faces, straight edges, and sharp corners or vertices.

Common examples are cubes, prisms and pyramids. However, cones, and spheres are not polyhedrons since they do not have polygonal faces.

Now you can all go out and play.
